The Bright Minds Learning Academy is an after school supplemental learning program offering a wide variety of subjects for ages 3 to 18 and older. Whether parents are looking for remedial help or enrichment for their children, Bright Minds has the solution to almost all of their educational needs. It's a program that "Fits Every Parents Needs and Every Parents Budget".

1) Tutoring Services

Bright Minds offers affordable, on demand tutoring services for all ages and all subjects.Whatever is the need we will create a program for all needs.

Academic Enrichment

Students can come to Bright Minds to receive academic enrichment services.
Based on a personalized learning objective, each student's portfolio will be created, which will contain worksheets, activities and projects designed specifically to support their academic needs. Enrichment materials are selected according to the student's grade level and the personal goals discussed with parents at the initial consultation appointment.
Each student's enrichment materials are specifically tailored to help them achieve their full learning potential and can be focused on a single subject area or the mastery of all age-appropriate skills.
Depending on the student's scholastic workload and his or her targeted goals, enrichment materials can be assigned for homework to further extend academic development

2) Remedial And Enrichment Learning Programs

The Bright Mind's core curriculum consist of math, reading and writing, programs and expands from ages 3 to high school.
The program is individualized, step by step, systematic and thorough with mastery learning as goal for every child.
From ABC s and 123 s to ACT and Calculus, we have the programs available for all ages.

3) Test Prep Program

Bright Minds offers ACT/SAT Test prep for Sophomores, Junior and Seniors.

Affordable , effective, individualized and one-on-one test prep is available for students.

We promise 3-8 pints increase on ACT Prep (Minimum 24 Hrs.of instruction)

We had a perfect scorer in February, as well as many received higher scores and are able to huge scholarships and enter their choice of college.

TEST PREPARATION SKILLS

Bright Minds works with each student to help them prepare for exams as efficiently as possible. During lessons, Bright Minds teachers give assessments to target areas of need, teach a lesson guided by the test results, and provide a post-test which demonstrates mastery. These tests are kept in each student's portfolio as a record of their progress. Students at Bright Minds are coached in recognizing and comprehending patterns in test questions, prioritizing, managing time, and withstanding distractions so that they can maximize their time when taking exams. Strategies for answering different types of test questions such as multiple choice, short-answer and essay responses are provided to each student. For example, students are taught to think critically about all available choices, try to determine the answers that are most likely to be correct, and to complete pre-writing to help organize their thoughts effectively before completing a timed essay. Bright Minds instructors teach strategic approaches to test-taking in the interest of helping each student achieve the best possible outcome.
